Erica Weiner's new shop opened in early December and is her first location devoted to her entire collection of vintage-inspired jewelry. She started designing in 2005 and grew a huge following online with her re-worked found objects and one-of-a-kind pieces, and opened her first flagship boutique to house the accessories.
This former dress shop is beautifully minimal, with patterned tile, white walls, and vintage lamps. Contrasting against the white interior are perfectly aged vintage furniture and display cases filled with Erica Weiner's necklaces, earrings, rings, and bracelets. She travels the world to find eccentric oddities to be worked into handmade modern pieces, and range from $14 earrings to $300+ engagement rings. Most everyday pieces are under $100 and come in gold, silver, and brass.
The attention to detail and creativity in making vintage objects new is evident in all the pieces, especially the unique fountain pen nubs and letterpress block letters transformed into wearable accessories. Our favorites include vintage harmonica pendant necklaces ($45), brass casts of a bald eagle talon necklaces ($90), vintage gold chain hoop earrings ($20), and Victorian penknife pendants ($110).
This new shop is a must to see Erica Weiner's collection in person, and even get the chance to meet the designer. Trying all the items on is encouraged and you are sure to fall in love with numerous charming pieces.
